On the surface, Amy is like any other successful Mum to be in her late twenties, a job she loves, a loving partner (Elijah) who will do anything for her, dedicated friends and a beautiful suburban house to raise her soon to be family in.

Life would be perfect if not for her strong desire for Elijah’s best friend Kevin, who, much to Amy’s dismay, reveals to them at lunch he has found ‘the one’.

With her emotions in turmoil she is oblivious when Kevin, known for being a bad seed, stashes priceless rocks from a recent heist into their garden. Unknown to him, one of the items is an ancient rock containing the blood of a demon which feeds from Amy as she starts to emit the emotions it requires to take form.

As midnight approaches the demon takes control of Amy and Elijah must do all he can to save the woman he loves from being consumed completely, which is no easy task once he finds out about her affair with Kevin…

Midnight Perturbation began pricincipal photography on the 25th June 2023, wrapped on the 4th August with it’s premiere held at a SOLD OUT 183 Seat cinema on the 25th November of the same year. Making it one of the fastest production turn arounds in independant film history.

Inspired by horror and sci-fi greats such as “The Exorcist”, “The Thing”, “Videodrome”, “Evil Dead”, “Carrie”, “American Werewolf In London”, to name just a few, I’ve always wanted to create my own horror world where it merges the visuals and feel of the 80’s horror genre that brought it to be but carries more heart with its emotional story arc. Not only this but with so much horror content out there and an audience already existing, it is the perfect pool to see if you will sink or swim with giving it new content.

None of which would have been possible if not for the insanely talented cast and crew who were able to work around the 4k budget and deliver something which looks like it was made for a hell of alot more. Especially with the amazing special effects our make up artist was able to accomplish, putting her own style on the idea of possession and what it means to be undead.”
